Shipping & Returns
All products are shipped out from Racing Ambitions shipping location. Racing Ambitions, LLC drop ships some products and ships others directly. Items out of stock or backordered will be shipped directly from the manufacturer. If an item is on backorder we will notify you immediately with an E.T.A of the products release. We will give you the option of canceling the order or wait for the item to be shipped from the manufacturer. All products are shipped UPS or FedEx. Special arrangements may need to be made for out of country orders and oversize packages. All shipping prices on the site are for the continental USA and will be adjusted for your location. Tracking numbers can be viewed by logging into the "My Account/Order Status" section of our website and clicking on the "Review Orders/Track Packages" link.
Shipping Rates and Oversize Packages The Shipping Rates shown at the time of checkout are dimensional rates from the respected shipper. If the shipment weight is too high then please contact us for an accurate shipping quote. If there is an error in the shipping rate quoted we will contact you and let you know of the changes. We ship to all the continental USA and to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico at an additional cost. Please contact us for a shipping quote. International orders (Outside the USA) are not automatically processed as we may require additional information from you. Please visit our "International Customers" page for further information on international orders. Over sized items such as Hoods, Body kits, etc. will be shipped out by freight truck. Please check out any corresponding products page for more information if that particular item will be shipped via Freight. Additional charges may apply for over sized items.
Damaged, Lost or Incorrect Shipping All items shipped from Racing Ambitions, LLC are insured up to the value of the item. If an item arrives damaged to your location, please follow the steps listed below. If these steps are not followed, your shipment may not be processed for an insurance claim. Take pictures of the damaged area of the product and e-mail them to us at damages@racingambitions.com. Keep the product and its original packaging and box. Make a list of the damaged or lost item(s). Racing Ambitions, LLC will contact the shipper once we receive the e-mail info above to schedule a pickup with the carrier, please do not send it back to us. Once the product is picked up and inspected by shipping company, the claim may take 1-3 weeks. Then a replacement will be sent. If the shipping company does not pay out the claim, we will work it out for you!
In rare cases where you are missing items from you package, please notify Customer Service within 3 days. We will handle the claim accordingly and ship out any missing pieces that you reported.
In the event that the product you ordered is sent either incorrectly or processed wrong by Racing Ambitions, LLC we will except the package back and reimburse you for the return shipping on your next order with us. We will evaluate the situation before we determine the shipment was incorrect.
Returning Items If a product is ordered and not needed, the unused item can be returned for a 20% restocking fee. Shipping is not refundable in either direction. All items wanting to be return or that are damaged must be reported within 3 days of receiving the shipment to be considered. No items will be returnable after 30 days. All products shipped from the Racing Ambitions warehouse are shipped via UPS or Freight and require a signature when delivered. Some packages shipped from manufacturers may or may not require signatures for package release. UPS, FedEx and DHL have package pick up locations if you are unable to sign for the package. If the package is returned to Racing Ambitions or the manufacturer, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay a 20% restocking fee. These fees will be charged to your account on file. No returns after 30 days. No returns on clearance items. No returns on installed products or products that has been altered or modified in any way. No returns on Custom Made/Special Order items. Returned merchandise is subject to a 20% Restocking Fee.
To return a item back to us, please do the following: Contact a Racing Ambitions Representative to receive a RMA number. All packages returned without a Returned Merchandise Authorization number will be refused. Package the item up in original packaging unless deemed unusable. Include the unused parts and any additional information that was included. Include a copy of your receipt. Write a brief description of the problem with the product. If you have a receipt for the return shipping include it as well. We will not except any freight collect packages. Once we have received the above information we will notify you via email or phone and let you know the status.
Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) and are subject to inspection. Returned product must be received in "As New" condition in the manufacturers box with all instructions included. A copy of your original order is required with the returned product.
Please write the RMA# on the return label itself; please do not write it on the box. The shipping method is entirely your choice, however please make certain the return is appropriately packaged and insured. In the event of any product damage from shipping, filing a damage claim is the responsibility of the shipper. Racing Ambitions, LLC does not reimburse return freight expenses.
Once the returned merchandise is received and inspected, a refund will be issued in the same payment method as the purchase was made. Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days of Racing Ambitions, LLC receiving the merchandise. Once the refund is processed a confirmation will be e-mailed to you. Note: Racing Ambitions, LLC is not responsible for products returned without a RMA# or any traceable markings.
Some products are required to be returned directly to the manufacturer. Please contact Racing Ambitions, LLC and a Customer Service Representative will get an RMA# and shipping address for you. Please allow 1-2 business days for that information to be e-mailed to you. Refunds for products returned directly to the manufacturer may take slightly longer to process.
